Brand Design and Event Collateral
Project details: Stander Symposium is an annual celebration of academic excellence—and an alternate day of learning put on by the University of Dayton. The event includes student and faculty presentations across a variety of disciplines. Each year, one designer is commissioned to design and roll out a brand and marketing materials for the event.

Process: Grace presented the event committee with four distinct mood boards to initiate the branding process. The committee was drawn to the fourth option for its bold, modern, and dynamic appearance. In response, Grace designed a versatile logo that cleverly used positive and negative space to complement high-contrast photography and overlays.
End result: The 2022 Stander Symposium was a resounding success. The final printed designs stood out vividly against the lush green campus landscape, while the digital designs captured the bold and innovative spirit of the day’s presentations.
